Good Girl

Anna is at mum's house tonight, she picked her up this afternoon. Mum just sent me a message telling me a story about their trip to the shops today.

She said, as they were walking into the supermarket, Anna spotted a ride. She asked if she could go on the ride, and mum replied "after shopping".

Whilst they were shopping, Anna asked for a couple of things. The last thing she asked for was some stamps. Mum said "you can have the stamps or the ride" - she chose the stamps.

On the way out of the shops, they passed the ride again. Anna looked at her stamps. She didn't say a thing.

  1. I could see the lesson going through her head as we walked past the ride. She didn't even look at me to question whether I might change my mind. She knew she had made her decision and was going to stick with it.
