Spectacles

Anna had been complaining of headaches and dizziness with reading, so we went and had her eyes tested today. Turns out she's longsighted and needs glasses for reading. Anna chose the glasses herself (of course she chose the most expensive pair, and to avoid the risk of buying glasses she refused to wear, I conceded) but she does look very cute indeed.

At Pa's House

Whenever the girls stay at dads for the night, I often get a text message from Dad or Tiff with a photo. It really makes my night, because as much as I need time on my own, I miss them every minute I'm not with them. So the photo always helps.

Rainy days

What else do you do on a rainy day?!

Sweetest thing.

The girls have been so sweet lately. Anna has been taking extra special care of Millie, kissing her sore knee better, scratching her back, and lots of cuddles and kisses on the couch.

Growing up

She still loves play doh. But my lord she is growing into such a beautiful little girl, both inside and out. My girls make my world so wonderful.

When you realise how lucky you are

I'm talking about myself. I am so lucky that I have such an incredible family that never fails to put a smile on my beautiful daughters' faces. A family that is always there for me when I need, and always there for them, unconditionally. And it's not about buying presents or ice creams, it's that they care to. Mum is taking millie out for dinner while I work on my assignment.
