Post-party

You couldn't wake her if you tried. Super huge day for little Millie.

Party

Anna's first school birthday party. It was really nice seeing Anna out playing with her friends, it was a fun day. Anna also did really well on her scooter, we went to the Kew kids traffic school, which had a kid sized town and roads, Anna was happy scooting around. We will be going back again.

The eggs

There's been a surprise at Kew Kids this week. Yesterday, there were 8 eggs, and this morning, there were chicks! Anna and Millie were fascinated by them, and got to witness a chick pecking his way out of the egg. It was a fun experience.

Sisters

I'm looking forward to watching them grow up together. As the days go by, the closer they get. Sure, they fight, a lot. But they're also kindred spirits.

Family

The kids will have to make their own definition of family, given the circumstances. I suppose they'll have to remain fairly adaptive to the unconventional family unit, but what ever way they identify themselves, I'll support it.

Growing up way too quick.

Learning

Every day, she comes home with a new skill. Sometime I can't believe my eyes.

Freak Show

Despite Anna asking a lady in the restroom "are you off to the freak show", this was a fairly successful cafe trip.

 

Mushrooms

Anna refuses to eat her dinner, which is arguably fairly kid friendly. She succumbed to a bribery of mushrooms. Yeah, weird.
