Time For Change

Recently we have been trying to establish a routine for Anna. We've found that it helps everyone, Anna knows when she's going to sleep, and when she'll be fed, and I know when I get 'me time'. So far, it's working and Anna seems happier. Here's the routine (so I can use it for future reference)

9:00am
  • Wakeup
  • Breakfast
  • Floor Time
11:00am
  • Top up feed, and sleep.
1:00pm
  • Wakeup
  • Lunch
  • Floor Time
  • Walk
4:00pm
  • Top up feed, and sleep.
6:00pm
  • Wakeup
  • Dinner
  • Floor Time
7:30pm
  • Bath time
  • Jarmies
  • Book
8:30pm
  • Bottle Feed
9:00pm
  • Sleep for the night.
This routine is really just structuring the natural routine she's already got. And it seems to be working, it's completely predictable, we're just working on her sleeping through the whole night. At the moment, she's waking up at midnight, then again at 4am for feeds. But soon enough she should be sleeping through.

I'm really relieved to have a bit more structure, I was all over the place at one point, and I'm glad my baby girl is happier because of it.
