Now that Anna is getting older and more interested in, well, everything, we've had to create a little play area for her. And it's awesome. It's like her own little 'living room'. She's got her sheep skin rug, she's got her massive basket of toys, a blanket on hand, with some chuck rags, bibs and a box of wet-ones, but that's more for me. She's got her bumbo, her play gym, and a little table to colour on when she gets older. We'll be getting her a little chair to go with the table, and a chalk board with some chalk, and some paint and smock.
And all next to the lovely big window, full of nature and natural light. Sometimes she'll crawl up to the window, and just sit up and look out at the sun hitting the green grass.
And she's also learned how to say 'mum, pick me up'. It works every time. The hands go up, almost like begging. And it's so hard to keep entertaining her, she needs constant stimulation. So we decided to go for a drive...
