I find it fascinating that children understand the meaning of love; possibly more so than adults.
Since Anna was about 15 months old, she has been saying "I love you" (although it sounded more like 'wuvoo').
To this day, Anna says 'I love you' about 20 times a day. She randomly approaches me and tells me she loves me. She may be happily drawing a picture, or eating her dinner, and she will stop, and tell me she loves me. The spontaneity of it is so sweet.
When she says it, she means it. I love it.
Anna is so sweet. She has the kindest heart, and is everything I hoped she would be. I am relieved that she is growing into a person that I adore. And she reminds me everyday that, clearly, I am doing something right.
Millie is a, errr, spirited child. She is very strong-willed, and often pushes the boundaries. But despite the look of evil she often gives, I can see the similarity of Anna - Millie is incredibly affectionate, and greatly enjoys prolonged cuddles. Even when she's caused me to pull my hair out in frustration, I can feel that she has a beautiful soul. I know she has a great deal of love for me and her family.
